About

As an independent Architectural Designer and Accessibility Consultant for residential and commercial applications, Sandy has served and consulted in the accessibility industry for over 15 years. She is a member of the Association for Architectural Technologist of Ontario.

Sandy Faugh has a diploma in Architectural Technology, registered with Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing since 2006.  While running her design firm Freedom By Design she specialized in creating Universal Designed homes.  Since 2010, she has worked with March of Dimes Canada as a Barrier Free Design Counsellor with the Home and Vehicle Modification Program until assuming her role in 2018 as Team Lead of AccessAbility Advantage, a program of March of Dimes.

Since 2010, she has worked closely with Occupational Therapist to greatly grow her knowledge of disabilities and suitable modifications.

In 2020, Sandy reopened Freedom Support Services to include Accessibility Support Services that assist organizations and individuals achieve their accessibility goals.

Sandy is considered a professional in her field, offering consultation services to individuals, organizations as well as the Federal Government of Canada.
